Our internet backbone is connected to renowned carriers like Deutsche Telekom, Colt Telecom, EuNetworks, and Global Connect via multiple 10 Gbit/s links. Additionally, our direct data exchange (peering) with numerous international providers at DE-CIX in Frankfurt a.M. ensures optimal connectivity. Additional carriers, including Vodafone, HTP, and Gasline, operate a PoP on-site in our data centers and are available for direct connections.
Enjoy maximum flexibility with us: Choose whether to use our broadband, redundantly designed carrier mix, connect directly to a carrier, or prefer a connection to the cloud. We offer flexible solutions for each of these options.
We provide you with one or more uplinks with dedicated network segments supporting bandwidths of 1 Gbit/s and 10 Gbit/s. Multiple uplinks can be operated in both Active-Active mode and Active-Passive mode. The latter includes a “primary-failover” operation, where one uplink is active. In a disruption, it switches to a failover uplink if the primary uplink is unavailable.
Multiple active uplinks can either be combined as an LACP channel or operated independently. In addition to our Ethernet connections, we also offer fiber optic connections (LWL) that can be operated with even broader bandwidth using appropriate equipment.
If you have your own Autonomous System (AS), we offer the option to use BGP routing. BGP stands for Border Gateway Protocol. We provide you with 1 Gbit/s or 10 Gbit/s uplinks and the necessary transfer network to implement BGP.
BGP ensures network stability by adapting to route failures: an alternative path is quickly found in case of a failure. BGP makes routing decisions based on paths defined by rules or network policies that you can configure according to your requirements.
To connect your infrastructure in one or both of our data centers, you can use cross-connects (cross-connections) as copper or fiber optic connections (fiber type single-mode 9/125 µm, or fiber type multi-mode 50/125 µm).
When connecting with an external provider, these connections are also required to link your rack infrastructure with the providers at the handover point in our data center.
In addition to carrier connections, we offer the option to connect directly to external cloud providers to integrate their services into your network seamlessly. Our flexible and scalable network infrastructure enables connections to all renowned cloud providers.
