There’s no need for trips to the data center wwhen you have our team working for you. You can rely on our Operations Center 24/7 to perform reboots or resets of your systems, connect a monitor and keyboard, relay screen messages, or input commands into the console if remote access is disrupted. Comprehensive Monitoring

In an era of increasingly complex IT structures, constant availability is crucial. Our system monitoring identifies potential issues before they cause disruptions. We employ preventive monitoring of relevant system metrics and specialize in the timely identification and resolution of even rare ‘corner cases.’

We assist you in developing a comprehensive monitoring concept that, together with an individualized escalation plan, forms the basis for maximum system availability.

Security for Your Systems

  • Top-level security: Our data center ensures access exclusively through two-factor authentication (2FA), combining authorized employees’ personalized RFID transponder (“possession”) with their personal PIN (“knowledge”). With 24-hour video surveillance at all building access points and within the data center, live video feeds are transmitted to the OC, and all accesses are logged. Perimeter security is enhanced with grating gates and additional protection of the data center. At the same time, a comprehensive hazard detection system, intrusion detection system, and fire alarm system immediately report emergencies to the OC and an external security company.
  • For fire protection, we use highly sensitive smoke detectors (VESDA) and automatic nitrogen fire suppression (N² suppression) to protect human life in an emergency.
  • A battery-supported uninterruptible power supply (UPS) and a diesel generator (EPS) back the power supply. Additionally, our electrical installations are protected by a professional lightning and surge protection concept.
  • Our efficient and sustainable cooling uses redundant climate control with free cooling and heat recovery to maintain optimal operating temperatures. A raised floor cooling system with cold and hot aisles allows precise temperature control.

Our High-Performance Network

  • Optimized IP Upstream: Our data centers are connected via separate routes and entries at two locations with leading carriers. By intelligently utilizing the backbone through various routes, we ensure maximum availability and redundancy. Our selected carriers, including Deutsche Telekom, Colt Telecom, EuNetworks, and GlobalConnect, offer connections with multiple 10 Gbit/s for your individual traffic mix,
  • Direktes Peering at DE-CIX: In addition to our established carrier connections, we enable direct data exchange (“peering”) at DE-CIX in Frankfurt am Main, the world’s largest commercial internet exchange point. Benefit from direct connections to renowned national and international carriers.
  • Carrier Neutrality: Our diverse traffic mix allows you to connect directly to one or more carriers of your choice. Many of these carriers, including Deutsche Telekom, Colt Telecom, Vodafone, EuNetworks, GlobalConnect, Gasline, and HTP, already have a point-of-presence (PoP) in our data centers.

Optional Additional Services

  • Customer Workspace and Storage:  The data center offers a comfortable, network-supported workspace, so you don’t have to work directly at the rack. Our staff will handle the interim storage of your deliveries until you can install them on-site.
  • DDoS Protection: Additionally, secure your infrastructure against broad-based DDoS attacks. We offer tailored solutions for your required level of protection.
  • BGP-Uplinks: In addition to standard internet uplinks, you can operate your own BGP routing; you only need your own AS (“Autonomous System”) and IP subnets.
  • Cross-Connects:  We provide cross-connects between racks within the same data center and for disaster recovery scenarios in the second data center. We also offer connections to in-house carriers and other telecommunication and network service providers.
  • Backup Colocation: We offer a secure colocation solution through an internal network if you need to operate a single server in a separate data center for backup and archiving purposes.
  • Cost-Effective Procurement of Branded Hardware:  As a long-standing partner of renowned manufacturers and distributors of high-quality network equipment, we can procure system hardware from HPE, DELL, Juniper, Extreme Networks, and Palo Alto at favorable prices for use in our data center. Depending on your service contract, we also handle manufacturer support processing in the data center.
  • Equipment Installation and Removal:  In addition to our 24/7 remote hands services, we can also handle the installation and removal of your equipment to save you travel time and effort. Contact us for efficient and professional management of your IT infrastructure.
