kyberio in brief
Sovereign IT infrastructure from Hanover
kyberio GmbH, based in Hanover, has been in business since 1997 and runs IT infrastructure for companies and public institutions: cloud solutions, AI infrastructure, managed services and colocation. It is built on data centres at three locations in Hanover, Wolfsburg and Frankfurt am Main.
The data centres and cloud services are certified to ISO 27001 on the basis of IT-Grundschutz from the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI-IGZ-0552-2023), plus a certification to PCI DSS.
Until the end of 2023, the company traded as Hostway Deutschland GmbH; since January 2024 it has been kyberio GmbH. In 2024, Everscale GmbH, a long-standing partner and managed hosting provider from Hanover, was merged into kyberio.
More than 30 employees look after customers’ systems. The managing directors are Florian Dierks, Simon Künzel and Thimo Groneberg.
