The kyberio Secure Public Cloud is based on OpenStack: open standards, open APIs, no vendor lock-in. You provision compute, storage, network and backup in self-service and pay only for what you actually use.
The platform runs exclusively in our data centres in Hanover and Wolfsburg — certified to ISO 27001 on the basis of BSI IT-Grundschutz, with a scope covering all data centres and all cloud services. kyberio is German-owned and subject to German law, not to the CLOUD Act. Your data does not leave Germany.

Why OpenStack
OpenStack orchestrates virtual machines, containers, bare metal and dedicated infrastructure in one unified network. As an open-source project it ties you to no vendor, and there are no licence fees for the platform itself.
For you, that means: what you book here, you can keep running elsewhere on the same technology. Sovereignty starts with the question of whether you could leave.
Need OpenStack on your own hardware? The same functions are also available as a dedicated environment — your own nodes, your own capacity, the same platform. Talk to us about it; we will work out together what fits your load.

What does trial access cost?
Nothing. You try the Secure Public Cloud free of charge for 14 days. After that you pay by usage — with no minimum purchase and no long-term commitment.
What happens when I set up trial access?
You register at signup.kyberio.net. We check the registration and activate your account straight after a successful check. If you would like to discuss beforehand what you want to test, write to us via the contact form.
Where can I find all prices?
The examples above come from the Public Cloud price list as a PDF (in German) — it lists compute, storage, traffic, management and managed services in full. You calculate your own environment in the configurator.
Where is my data stored?
In our data centres in Germany — Hanover and Wolfsburg. A site in Frankfurt is planned. kyberio is German-owned and subject to German law, not to the CLOUD Act.
Who helps when something goes wrong?
Our own team in Hanover, 24/7/365. There is an on-call service for the platform and for managed services on the platform, and DDoS protection is included.
Am I tied to kyberio?
No. The platform is based on OpenStack with open standards and APIs, and there are no licence costs for the platform. Your workloads stay portable.
