n8n connects your systems into workflows: fetch data, check it, transform it, pass it on — without anyone doing it by hand. Self-hosted, this runs in your own instance instead of sending business data through someone else's automation service.

Workflows you can see
n8n is a tool for workflow automation. You build a workflow as a chain of nodes: a trigger starts it — a schedule, a webhook, a new row in a database — and further nodes fetch data, check conditions, transform it and write the result to where it belongs.
For the common services n8n brings ready-made nodes; anything else can be connected via HTTP calls. Where a button is not enough, you write a few lines of JavaScript or Python directly into the workflow. Language models can be added as nodes too, when a step needs a judgement rather than a rule.
The difference from hosted automation services is not the range of functions but the path the data takes: on your own instance it runs through your machine, not through someone else’s.

Workflows and credentials are backed up too, geo-redundantly in a second data centre if you want that.

Why self-host n8n?
Because everything you automate flows through an automation service — orders, customer data, invoices. On your own instance in a German data centre, that path stays in your hands.
Do you build the workflows for us?
No. We run the instance — the workflows are built by you or by a partner. These are two different crafts: we make sure n8n runs, stays current and is backed up. If you need someone for the workflows, we put you in touch.
Which licence applies to n8n?
n8n is published under the vendor's Sustainable Use License, not under a classic open-source licence. It permits use for your own business purposes and restricts offering n8n as a service to third parties. That is why the arrangement here is clear: the instance is yours and serves your workflows — we run the machine underneath, the operating system, the updates and the backups. We do not resell you an n8n account. For the Community edition that is enough; if you need features of the Enterprise edition, you take out the subscription yourself, and we run it in the same way.
What does it cost?
That depends on the virtual machine and the support level. We do not give a list price here — we work it out with you once it is clear how much will run through the instance.
