Content Delivery Network
Long load times cost money.
Speed up now!
Speed up your static and dynamic content with our global Siteaccelerator infrastructure. Caching relieves your systems, increases availability, scalability and speed, and lowers costs. Our features reduce the need for hardware, licences and staff.
kyberio Siteaccelerator
What the Siteaccelerator does
A CDN keeps copies of your content at distributed locations and delivers them from the nearest cluster. That shortens load times, cuts the number of connections to the origin system and absorbs seasonal peaks. For your visitors, that means shorter routes. For your infrastructure: less load.
- Acceleration of static and, in particular, dynamic content
- Considerably fewer connections to the actual target system
- Requests distributed to the geographically nearest Siteaccelerator cluster
- Configuration changes and removal of old entries from the cache in real time (purging)
- With shared or your own SSL certificates, as you choose
- Global infrastructure designed for high availability
- Prewarming of the caching clusters
What you get with kyberio
- Individual advice and configuration to your specifications and requirements
- Edge scripts (redirects and rewrites, hotlinking protection and more)
- Consulting: performance analyses and identifying optimisation measures

Three services, three levels
Load balancing, GSLB or CDN – which one when?
Load balancing
One site, one setup. Spreads requests at layers 4 to 7 across several servers and absorbs the failure of a single system.
To load balancingGSLB
Several sites, DNS level. Absorbs the failure of an entire data centre and directs requests to the right site.
To GSLBCDN (this page)
Caches distributed around the world. Shortens load times and relieves your origin system – it does not spread load inside your setup.
Frequently asked questions about the content delivery network
What is a content delivery network?
A network of distributed servers that keeps copies of your content and delivers them from the geographically nearest location. Your visitors get the content faster, and your own system has to answer fewer requests.
Does the CDN also speed up dynamic content?
Yes. Our CDN speeds up static and expressly also dynamic content, and in doing so considerably reduces the number of connections to the origin system.
How quickly do changes to the cache take effect?
In real time. Configuration changes and the removal of old entries (purging) take effect immediately. Before announced load peaks, we can also fill the caching clusters in advance (prewarming).
Can I use my own SSL certificates?
Yes. You can use either shared certificates or your own. We also obtain and renew SSL certificates for you.
Can delivery be limited to Europe?
Yes. A worldwide network speeds things up worldwide — if you may or want to deliver your content only in Europe, the network is limited to the EU for you. That is a setting, not an exception.
What is the difference between a CDN and a load balancer?
A load balancer spreads requests across several servers within one environment and provides load distribution and resilience there. A CDN caches content at locations distributed around the world and delivers it closer to the visitor – it is about load times and relieving the origin, not about distribution inside your setup.
What response times do you commit to?
We monitor around the clock, every day of the year. How quickly we intervene and through which escalation stages is set out in your contract — a time we have not committed to is not a time we state here.
